Overview

The Hamilton Biking Plan outlines our vision for biking over the next 30 years.

The Plan aims to deliver projects that will create a fully connected biking network that is safe, family-friendly and attractive. The Plan is not just about building new cycleways, it’s also about promoting biking in the city and providing educational programmes for all road users to create a bike-friendly city for Hamiltonians now and in the future.

Feedback was sought for the plan between 2 – 9 June 2015. 265 submissions were received.

Council adopted the plan on 27 August 2015.
