The draft Central City Transformation Plan (CCTP) aims to transform Hamilton’s city centre into a prosperous commercial centre, with a vibrant metropolitan lifestyle.

The draft plan contains a mixture of short and long-term projects, designed to rejuvenate the central city, transforming it into vibrant centre and a great place to work, live and play.

There are a number of exciting ideas in this draft plan. Concepts include reshaping the city into three precincts, reducing its size, creating parking zones and transforming Victoria on the River into a public green space. You can learn more at an open day at the Reception Lounge at the Municipal Building on 30 September, from 12.30pm – 7.30pm.
