What do you propose to use the Founders Theatre building for?
A centrally based community centre that is managed by a key service or organisational provider in partnership with council, and other collaborative partnerships. The key community organisation would over see all the day to day management of the centre. The council would contribute to some costs TBD as well as oversight of building and maintenance. There would be invited and interested parties included in the centre advisory group and a sliding scale of costing for hiring spaces would be developed e.g corporate/charity/individual.

The commercial activities will sit in 2 baskets:
1) key organisation to charge costs for hireage of rooms and spaces w/ a sliding scale to relative parties and stakeholders
2) opportunity for social enterprise and micro enterprise e.g coffee shop

The vision for the WTB beautifully align with our organisational vision , as it will include all demographics of the citizens within Hamilton inclusive of our disabled population, it will normalise the interaction is a generally isolated community with the rest of the population, which will become the new normal. It will be centrally accessible and dynamic on respect to being a new model where genuinely all people are welcomed and connected
