We’re planning to upgrade the playground at Hammond Park in Riverlea. It will remain a small neighbourhood play space but with a few more pieces of equipment than the current swing set so it’s more fun for local kids. We’re also proposing to add a toilet. Founders Theatre has been closed since 2016. It sits on a triangle of inner-city parkland in the heart of the West Town Belt, a band of open space linking the Hamilton Lake Domain to the Waikato River.
