Overview

The Council is consulting on the proposed Parks, Domains and Reserves Bylaw, which provides for the protection of the City’s parks from damage and misuse, and to allow for their effective management.

Under the Local Government Act 2002, the Council is obligated to review this bylaw.

Council is now seeking feedback from the community on the proposed changes to the Bylaw, and as a key stakeholders and user of Hamilton’s parks we welcome your feedback.

For your information, a copy of the Statement of Proposal and the proposed Bylaw incorporating changes are attached.  Scroll down this page to the heading "Related" to view.
