The Parks and Open Spaces Team will use the feedback from the survey along with the Hamilton Play Strategy results received earlier in the year to develop further priorities as part of the Council’s 2021-31 10-Year Plan.

Overview

Thanks for your interest in Hamilton City Council’s 2019 Parks Survey.

In this survey, “parks” covers a range of areas and uses, including developed sports parks (for club and school competitions), natural areas, dog exercise areas, destination parks, playgrounds, river paths and reserves dotted across the city.

When responding to our survey, please consider your experiences in all the parks managed and maintained by the Council on behalf of the people of Hamilton.

It will only take 10-15 minutes to complete the survey. Your feedback will be used to:

  • Help Council understand how the community view and use these parks.
  • Find out what the community likes/dislikes about the parks and where we can improve.
  • Identify how we can plan, develop and look after our parks.

This survey uses skip logic, this means the questions you see are based on the answers you give.

Please note:
Please be aware when providing a submission/giving feedback/responding to a survey that all responses are part of the consultation process. This means that your name but not contact details may be reproduced and included in the Council's public documents such as the Council agendas and minutes. These documents are available on the Council's website at www.hamilton.govt.nz
