Overview

NZ Food Innovation (Waikato) Ltd (NZFIWL) owns an independent spray dryer (Dryer 1) situated at Innovation Park, offering open access to NZ producers and product developers.  Council owns 70% of NZFIWL.

NZFIWL proposes to build a new spray dryer (Dryer 2) to process sheep, goat, bovine and nutritional powders.  It will be stand-alone and located next to Dryer 1. 

NZFIWL proposes that Dryer 2 be owned by a new limited liability partnership, requiring the creation of 3 new Council Controlled organisations, full details of which are contained in the attached Proposal.
