Overview

Under Section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977, Hamilton City Council is proposing to change the reserve classification for part of Claudelands Park. The proposal is to reclassify part of Lot 1 DP 386843 from recreation reserve to local purpose (community facility) reserve.

The reclassification will allow the Council to grant a new lease to Hamilton Multicultural Services Trust to continue to provide its services from the Waikato Settlement Centre building and enable a future building expansion.

Anyone is welcome to give feedback using the online form below.

Please contact us if you have any questions on this proposal.

Consultation will be running from 13 September 2019 and ending 13 October 2019.
