The Government is proposing wider reforms including the replacement of the Resource Management Act. These reforms plan to replace the current Hamilton District Plan with standardised zones and a local land use plan by 2029. If the Percival/Ryburn Road proposed plan change were delayed, the zoning of the area would still need to be reviewed as part of this process.
