Overview

Under Section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977, Hamilton City Council is proposing to change the reserve classification for part of Hinemoa Park.  The proposal is to reclassify part of Section 1 SO 57622 from recreation reserve to local purpose (community facility) reserve.

The reclassification will allow greater flexibility for community use of the former Stadium Bowling facility, and more specifically enable the Council to grant a lease to K'aute Pasifika Trust for its Proposed Pan Pacific Hub.
