Te Manatu and Mangaiti Parks Concept Plan Development

Closed 19 Jun 2015

Opened 5 Jun 2015

Overview

Te Manatu Park and Mangaiti Park are two significant pieces of land in the north-eastern suburbs of Hamilton, please see link below for a map of where these parks are located.

Te Manatu Park is just over 7 hectares, while Mangaiti Park is 8.83 hectares.

At present, these parks are undeveloped – they're essentially blank canvasses of land which Council must develop to meet the needs of the communities around them, as well as the residents from across the city, who are also likely to use them.

We are developing concept plans for these parks. The first part of this process is seeking the input and ideas of the community. Feedback will be used to develop draft concept plans.

Our process to create plans for these parks will take several months, and will be used to guide future reserve management plans for these parks.

Please click on the survey link below (should only take 5 minutes), so you can tell us what sort of activities, facilities and features you would like to see on Te Manatu and Mangaiti Parks. If you would like to add further feedback, there is an opportunity for you to upload supporting documents at the end of the survey.
